Leaking hose & replacement

I have a Kioti CK20 w/KL120 loader. Just noticed a pinhole sized leak coming fro one of the lines running to loader. I found it bh pulling back protective mesh.

Has anyine replaced these lines? I'm wondering how hard it would be to feed the hose thru loader arm.
Does new mesh come with line or do I run new hose thru existing mesh then thru loader arm?
What should I expect to pay for hose?

I take my leaky hoses to the local parts house and they make me a new one. Less than a $100 every time. Actually is could be $30. I forget what the last two cost but it was less than what the JD parts catalog price was. By the way taking a hose to get made on a Sunday does not work. Apparently they only train hose makers who work Mon-Sat.

You can buy new mesh.

You can pull a pull cord when you remove your old hose to make the feed easier. Same thing you do when running conduit or data cable.

Be sure to use cardboard to locate leaks, not your hands. Hyd fluid under pressure will penetrate your skin and can cause need for immediate surgery. Eye protection too.

A John Deere uses either JIC or flat face connectors, most places stock them. Kioti will sometimes use BSPP so be prepared for that. I know my machine has these but can't say for sure without seeing it what yours has. Just a FYI, a auto parts store probably will not have these. You may have to find a good sized hydraulic shop. The line should be in the $50 dollar range depending on length. CJ
