leaking o ring

I have a Mitsubishi D3850fd that leaks hydraulic fluid around the o ring at the lower end of the steering column. I have replaced the o ring once and it continues to leak.

check the seating area and or the shaft around which the oring seals / seats.. pits, cuts , gouges or wear marks can make it inefective.

also.. are you using an oem oring replacement or a 'will-fit' from a universal kit... many oem styles can have a different profile but near same dimensions as kit orings, and cause problems if not repalced with a correct oring..
