Anyone have issues with the hydraulic oil cooler leaking on their CK (25,30,35)? This started in the past couple of weeks and has gotten steadily worse. Now the cooler is plugged up with oil and dirt and I have a decent sized oil spot in the garage.

It appears it's leaking out of the banjo fittings where the hoses attach to the top of the cooler, it looks like both are leaking. I did check to see how tight they were with a 19mm box wrench. I can lean on it pretty good and neither one moved. I'm going to clean it up this evening and run it around to see if it starts to leak again and hopefully I can catch where it's coming from.

I was curious if anyone else had this problem? If so was it simply a case of loose fittings?

I've only got 350 hours on the machine but this is the first hydraulic leak I've had on it. My last tractor leaked a little everywhere and I hated it. I do not like leaky equipment.

I believe others have had this problem with "older style" machines. I believe newer models were upgraded with flexible connections. I have the older style also but so far, so good with 403 hours as of today. I will be doing the 400 hour service tomorrow, unless the weather looks decent, then it's off to the golf course. I may be wrong, but once the leak starts, you will need a new cooler and hopefully your dealer will suggest the newer style connections. Good luck - I was going to change my tractor to the new style, but never got around to it.

I'm pretty sure my dealer changed it over to the new style before I Picked it up. There were a few minor things he took care of since it was a demo tractor. I'll have to call him to find out for sure though.

Thanks for the heads up.

I found the post that shows the new and old style. I definitley have the new style, two short hoses running up to the top of he cooler.

Maybe it's the cooler itself? I don't see how but with the flexible hoses in ther I don't see how the vibration could have done it in.

Anyway, I'll get in touch with my dealer to see what we can work out. The machine is obviously under warranty so there shouldn't be any problems there.

Thanks again.
