Thanks for the heads up, Kent. I'm going out there to do the job today. Since I already found one cross-threaded bolt on the MMM, I am concerned that there may be a problem with this too. If it is cross-threaded, I'll just make it worse, and it it's not, there is always the danger of too much torque and stripping either the female or the male.

I'll post to say how it went.

Thanks Again,

Jim

You're welcome Jim, I hope it works out for you. Really makes you mad, having the equiptment, and not being able to use it. Kent

Jim:

Sorry to here about the 'gotchas...add enough up and they can take some of the fun out of the purchase I know.

Regarding your lights, I had a similar problem with lights on my TC45D.....no headlights...fuses were fine and wires at headlight were tight/connected. Not sure if the wiring harness is the same between the tractors, but discovered a connection (about 3/4 of the way back from the headlights to the fuses). Its a covered connection, but had 'loosened' Pushed em together and presto....lights!

That was it, Paul - except somehow dirt got in there. I blew it out, and now there are lights.

Thanks for the tip!

Jim
