After setting up the electric for my sprayer late Saturday I neglected to turn the key off and forgot about it. When I went out today to spray I noticed the key was on and the idiot lights were glowing. It would have been a hassle to start since the barn has no electric. Anyway, it started. To add to it, the battery is the original and is 10 years old. When it started there was still a good amount of power left and it started fairly easy. Is this typical or normal?

For me, the batteries that Kubota uses are really pretty good units.....My 05 RTV has the original battery, and with care, started the unit all winter even when down in the single digits...............My B7610 battery needed replacement last year after 11 years..........so....Pretty good batteries..............God bless.....Dennis

What do you suppose their batteries have that others don't? My Kubota batteries seem to last a very long time while other batteries in other tractors either leak and rust the engine compartment or fail before they should.

Yea, rub it in you guys! My Bobcat has gone through 2 Bobcat batteries in less than 5 years. I just got a Die Hard battery and we'll see if it lasts longer.
