Left Front Wheel fell out. 4025 4WD with FEL

Not sure what "upgrade" they mean. None of the schematics I have show any other version. Not even on the 4540 (New model number of the 4025). Checking those every 10 hours would be a pain, as the front final drive housing has to come apart, requiring a new gasket, fluid, etc. Not something I would do, or have done. I would lift the front end with the fel, grab the front wheel, and check for free play periodically.

You owners with this model should consider yourselves lucky. The 2500 series tractors axel is held on by a snap ring!

That's all that holds axles in many trucks. Should work for a tractor.

It all depends on bearing size, distance between bearings, axle dia, groove and snap ring size, etc

I know this is an old one but any updates on this? I had this exact same thing happen.

As someone mentioned the 2500 series or now I guess the 2600 series tractors use a snap ring to hold the front tires on. As anyone ever had this happen or heard of it happening on one of those tractors.
