Leftover Grand L's - any deals?

I am seriously considering a leftover Grand L4330 w/cab. I was quoted $29,900 with FEL and fully optioned cab. Several members have emailed me saying that the deal is either good or maybe I can do better. Any opinions out there?

I have put my B2710 up for sale here in the TBN classifieds and I will either sell it outright or trade it on a Grand L. If anyone is interested in a fully optioned B2710 with snowblower and box scraper, take a look at the classified and PM me.

I got my best deal from Chappell on my new L3400/FEL/BH/Pallet forks/Chain hooks. I looked at them all, MB, Chappell, Chappell delivered free to my house in NH

SHOPPED CHAPPEL FOR A 4330HSTC W/ FEL. THEY WERE $2,500 MORE THAN WHAT I WAS QUOTED FROM BARLOW EQUIPMENT. DON'T GET ME WRONG ,I LIKE THE FOLKS @ CHAPPEL BUT I'M NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR FANCY SHOWROOMS ETC.

Wow, thats all for the loader? I would expect more in the +$2500 price range.

I think you can do better. I was quoted about $31,500 for a L4640 and just over $33,500 for a L4940 about 2 months ago. They were both the new models, cabs, HST, radio, R4s, newer model FEL, quick attach bucket, 3 rear remotes, and control on joystick to operate an accessory front hydraulic on the FEL.

I messed up my earlier statement. I found my quote from my dealer today while cleaning my desk. Both tractors equipped with R4 tires, loader with quick attach bucket, cab, hst, 3 rear hydraulics, front coupler with button in joystick was $32,100 for the L4240 and $33,850 for the L4740. I didn't write down if radio was included.

Actually MSRP list price is just over $35k. A 10% discount will give you $31.9k which is about their "normal" pricing.

What options are we talking here?

Oh, and those ususal absurd Kubota remote valve prices..... See
if you can negotiate a price that includes just the parts and you
do the install yourself. Not only should it be way less than $1800,
but you will have the valuable experience of seeing how it goes
together.

I have pretty much decided to forget about the L4330HSTC and wait till the spring or sooner for a L4740 or L5240 with cab. Chappell and I can't seem to reach an agreement on bottom line pricing for the 43.

Chappell has a L5240 w/cab in a crate but no 47's. They got a 39 and a 57 assembled on the lot. Price difference is only about $1500 between a 47 and 52 and $3400 between a 43 and 47.

Once I sell my B2710 (see the TBN classifieds) I will get a new L40 series.

Good luck! I'm wanting one of the L4240-HST or L4740-HST myself. I wouldn't want to pick up one of the Lxx30's and always wish I had gotten the latest and greatest for a little bit more.
