Thanks soundguy, I do not think a Jinma 304 has one. If it does then I have completly missed it.

Sometimes the filter is the water trap / bleeder.. just depends on the tractor and the design..

Any luck with this yet? Were you able to locate the sediment bowl?

If there was directed to me, nope haven't had a chance to play err...work on the tractor yet. Planned to tonight, but a phone call just changed that.

Not sure how others are set up, but on mine there is a valve just below the tank, a braided line that goes to a filter assy, then another braided line to the injector pump. My filter assembly has a paper filter inside a metal "cup". The cup is secured by a bolt with a bolt head on the top of the inlet/outlet housing. My plan is to take all of this apart and inspect for water and/or blockage. I'll undo the line going into the filter so I can drain the tank and check it all out. Tank looks like it might be somewhat of a pain to remove, but far better than any auto I have worked on.

After you get the filter off open the shut off valve back up and make sure you have a good flow of fuel coming out. If so look past the filter for any place blockage can occure.

Well I hopefully have fixed the problem!!! I disconnected the supply hose into the filter assembly to check for flow...there was very little IMO. I also noticed when I went to close/open the shut off valve below the tank, the compression fitting between the tank and the valve was rather loose. I am surprised it was not leaking fuel at this point. I snugged up the fittings at the valve, blew some air through the hose and re-installed the hose. This time the flow was much better. I do not know if it was an air leak causing the lack of flow or if something was blocking the flow, but either way there was a noticeable difference in flow through the hose.

I bush hogged for close to an hour last night and it ran great, once I got it started (I realized I did not open the shut off valve, no wonder it wouldn't start...oops). Hopefully all is well, although it was 75F vs 95F when it last acted up. Of course, the fields were pretty moist after the rain the past couple of days and dew had started to set in too (did it from 9pm-10pm), so it was under a load for sure (it was so thick in spots, the slip clutch kicked in).

Thanks again for all the help, from everyone!!!
