Lengevity and reliability of various transmission types

I don't need any fillings. My teeth are in great shape....because I use a toothbrush.....which was invented maybe about 150 years ago...:D

Thats terrific. Do you suspect that everyone who brushes regularly has no carries?:D

I think we've been over this before, but when did you move to Nova Scotia again?

I didn't make any claims about what a gear tractor or a toothbrush will do for anyone else. I'm just saying they have both served me well.

But if you brush regularly and still have cavities you might want to make sure you're using the right end. :D

Your saying you like those wire ends going through the gloves???:p

The term is shred your gloves and the skin beneath LOL:D

But how many here even know what the term TWO BLOCKING even means ???

I learned real quick and the consequences of it :p :p :p

And when i was talking about going backward i was referring to going back to
Manual shift gear boxes for heavy equipment transmissions

If you want it go for it >>>>>>>>>>>I'll pass

I don't know what that means either. I do remember back in college, working on a telephone line crew (I was a newbie), we were winching something and had a lot of cable pulled out. I was holding the cable in my (gloved) hand as it spooled up. The old crew chief stopped the winch and walked me down to where the cable was worn and sharp strands sticking out. I got the picture and never did it again.

TWO BLOCKING raising a blade on a cable dozer too high, and it didn't take me long to do it either less than two hours of operation:D
I was told to engage the winch quickly to reduce wear on the clutch and was concentrating on that. so when I two blocked it - it was tight.

All part of the learning experience many years ago.
