Length of powe outages

One night before I had installed a generator, there was a power outage lasting half the night. I survived by making a bed on the floor by my propane logs. The flickering flame was too annoying to read by so I just listened to classical music on the radio. That was the most peaceful evening that I've had in years before and since.

One night before I had installed a generator, there was a power outage lasting half the night. I survived by making a bed on the floor by my propane logs. The flickering flame was too annoying to read by so I just listened to classical music on the radio. That was the most peaceful evening that I've had in years before and since.

We lost power for three days around Christmas. The family spent most of the time in the family room by the fire. It really drew us together. The best Christmas we ever had.
