Well tomorrow is ash wednesday,and I was trying to find something to give up. I was reading the post on Pats Quick Hitch, and thught..... Naaahhhhh, no way could I do that.

I've been thinking about this for quite awhile. It seems that every year, I have difficulty in determining what I should give up for Lent. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You have the soloution. I used to have that quandry on news years resoloutions. A few years ago I made a news year resoloution to make no more news years resoloutions. Problem solved.

All . . . did you ever think that giving up is for quitters and we were probably all raised not to be quitters when we were little, so why start now?

Why do we need a special occasion to make a "resoloution" or give up something? Life is an ongoing thing and we have to make changes in the way we do things all of the time. Just stick to your morals ( good ones I hope ) and adjust to the changing world around you.

I like the idea of giving up giving up things. But for lent I am going to give up my grumpy attitude caused by having a 3 week old son who loves to cry and raise cain in the middle of the night...a 2 year old daughter who demands attention from her dada every waking moment.... a wife that has been off from work for the last three weeks and stuck in the house with the above two....and a job that I could spend 24 hours at and still not get done with everything.. No grumpy attitude.......just going to give thanks.
