I need a source for steel rim(wheel)blanks,you know,just the outer rim,no center.
I started a project using 16" LT tires and wanted to weld my original centers into a 16x10" blank.
I thought that being this is the USA I could buy them no problem but,man what a hassle.
I've done a million searches with no results.
Hope somebody can help....thanks,Mike.

That's a pretty intimidating project.

Since you're wanting to keep the bead lip and you're not wanting someone to tool up for production. I'd suggest cutting the wheel and installing a new blank to widen the original wheels. This would allow you to tailor your offset too.

A fabrication shop with a roller can roll your blanks for you. Or if you're lucky you might find a standard size of pipe that will work.

I once had a guy that worked for me that was amazing when it came to copying things. He had no imagination but man could he fabricate. One morning I came into the shop and he had taken four mobile home donuts and welded in Courier centers. He just couldn't bear to see those tires rotting under the trailer and him needing tires. I'm sure it rode like a brick with a minitruck and fourteen ply tires. But they ran true.

Maybe I am confused about what you want to do...but couldn't you just go to the junk yard for some rims and cut out the centers??

Go to Miller Tire. They have exactly what you need. They sell only tractor tires and wheels and have done so for over 30 years. They have a wide selection but are still a "down home" company. Great to deal with.

You can also try EATON Wheels they make all sorts of
custom wheels to spec...bead locks....
They even made me a set.
And have good prices!

Buy stamped steel wheels with rims the size you want. Cut out the center section with a torch and and grind.
