Tractor
1967 Ford 5000 w/FEL(sold), 1950 Farmall Super A for the wife to drive around (needs fixed) 2024 Kubota B2601 FEL & BH
So I had to move the hot tub about 600 ft.

Grabbed the QA plate I made to move the old chicken coop and ground off the angle I had tacked onto it.

I then tacked it to table to use as a fixture

Then added 3 pc of 2'x2'x1/4"x8' wall tubing I had in an old Trooper.
I had to make a taller brace for the middle fork due to flexing of the QA plate, since it had no support

Then I grabbed 2 pcs of 1-1/4x1-1/4x3/16 wall 5 ft long to add "adjustable extensions to forks"

worked great

Worked great, used several strategically placed straps, we have some more big things to move and then I will use it for brush until I build a grapple

You can see how I used the straps to lock everything in tubing to QA plate and then a strap between them two and another one to tension everything tight, it never moved

That's impressive. It looks like the tractor should tip forward.
I lifted one end of an 8 person tub last year and pushed it into the final position. No way my 48" forks would have lifted the whole thing.

There were several times I extended the BH and even had it extended out on the ground to the uphill side when I turned, it never felt unstable

It was supposed to be 684 lbs. empty+ 160 lbs. for left over water = ~850 lbs.

With the bucket + 48" forks + a 8 ft pallet all 30" from pivot point...tractor wouldn't budge it, so I lost the buckets wt. the heavy azz 8x8 pallet and the very heavy2x3x48 forks.

Tractor would only pick the hot tub up parallel with the ground, when we got to the new deck, my friend pulled up on the front strap he said maybe 20#s and I easily lifted it another foot with hydraulics, tilted down and set it on the deck.

Did you learn to weld as a trade, or is this just a hobby you've taken the time to really practice?

Ive been a machinist for 30 years, been building race trucks/offroad vehicles for 40 years, Yada, yada....
This was lowrider, 16 point cage, 3/4 elliptic rear suspension, welded rear etc. Built in the backyard for cheap...2009 ride of the month with backyard low budget build ...it was a build for planetisuzoo to represent the web site
I like building stuff....been piddling with this...My cycle karts build
And now the tractor let's me keep building stuff ;)

For me it's fun to think of a project, design it and build it, I hate when people say "you can't do that" or "that won't work" haters going to hate 😛

Good call, thanks!

The vale picture is a real car, I am building a replica using 17" Honda CB90 wheels and a 6.5hp engine.

Here are a few pics of my building the rear end and engine mount

Well your typical hot tub isnt wider than 8' so as long as your forks are on the heavy side 48in forks would prob lift it. I know mine did.
