Actually this was back in March 2008 when we were dumped on. We have a 650' steep driveway and for that storm there were chains on 4 wheels of the tractor and the truck. Wife is on the tractor, I had been running the plow truck at that phase of the clean-up.

Here is a couple of pictures of some of my piles. The first 2 are of a pile of snow from my driveway. The last couple are of a small sledding hill in my back yard for my 4 year old boss....

Good Afternoon Eric,
These are the best I could come up with ! :)

Thats ok, they will do:). With todays heatwave of 40 degrees my piles are looking a foot or more shorter than yesterday:(. Thats ok I guess it is going to get colder tonight and stay cold for another week or so. Oh and they are calling for more lake effect:D:D

Hey Eric,
Not to get off topic, but just wondering if that plot that you plowed and disked, did you fertilize that also ?

Hey Eric,

Yes, I used 18-18-18 at a rate of about 250#/acre. I then lighty tilled it in and then planted as my planter doesn't have the fertilizer boxes anymore. Then when my corn got about 6 inches tall or so I side dressed with nitrogen at about 150#/acre. I never did put any lime down. This year I am going to put 2 ton of ag lime to the acre as the ph is a little low and fertilize the same.

I'll post some pics on Saturday. The tractor is all loaded on the trailer as I am headed to the gun club in the am to blow back all the snow banks. They are running out of room to park and put snow.

Pics are from Feb. '07, first year on property.
Last year I got a 47 snowblower and made wings to bring it to 53. No more piles and done in one quarter of the time.
This year I added a Curtis Cab and heater. Life is good.
