This worked quite well last yr. 3203 JD, 5' Meteor blower, weatherbreak, and 4 wheeler tire chains for front.

Hello Jerrami, I have about the same setup as you and I lowered the sunshade on mine and also added plexiglas to the ROPS which reduced the amount of snow blowing in from behind. I noticed you added weights to the blower good idea.

Great topic and thanks for all the post. I really like the one about "when I get a picture of my wife" That's funny!!!

Just curious why so much weight on the blower? Does it ride up on packed snow or something? Nice looking rig none the less.

Thanks. Yes the weights help in the hard packed drifts. I found the blower too light at certain times, so added 140lbs of weight. Sure makes it hug the ground better. And lifting weights are cheap and easily addaptable to other implements. See the ones on the front of tractor;)

#1 for light snow removal

#2 for the deep stuff.

All these cool pix make me feel bad I've already got a big Husky walk behind blower.:D When the new BX arrives, I figure I'll just use the loader bucket some when needed.

Got to say that I am more than a little surprised that I don't see many tire chains in these photos. I thought I'd need them, but maybe with 4wd they're not so necessary?

My wife has more hours on the tractor moving snow than I do.
Good thing as she does not know what I look at on my road trips while she is busy clearing the driveways..
Honestly I do feel guilty sometimes....

Don't usually need chains with 4 WD and AG tires.

Uh oh, it's still not too late for me to tell them to switch the R-4s before delivery... I did notice a preponderance of R-1s in all the photos above. Lots of locust trees and thorny bushes here, though, I'm afraid of punctures. What to do, what to do?? (Don't mean to hijack the thread...)

You can see from the pictures I submitted that I am in some hilly country. With the tires loaded, I've not had to use chains at all.
