Me, too! That sure looks shinier than mine, however--

Mine still starts on the second pull after sitting for weeks, but I have had to replace the impeller once and the impeller bearing twice (rocks). Am now on the 4th set of belts-- but it's still a lot safer than the tractor/blower close to the house & garage.

Replaced the leaking shut-off valve with a piece of copper tubing this winter-- but all in all it has been very dependable. The Power Shift feature, before I got the tractor & blower, was very useful for going up my rather steep drive and still keeping the business end on the ground. Guess mine must be 14 or 15 years old, too. Seems like it must have several hundred hours on it. Don't plan to get rid of it any time soon!:D

It was barely affordable for us when we bought it, but has turned out to be a good investment. I'm looking forward to the M-F GC2310 being the same.

I pulled that picture off of a web page. Mine isn't that shiny either. The Toro sure has been a workhorse and a worthwhile investment.

Here are a couple pics of the last couple of days with my snow moving machine. This thing definately impressed me:)
Couple of driveways that I did had a full 3-5ft of snow in them. Put the tractor in low gear and blew right threw them like nothing.

I like your rear counter weight!! Very good idea. What do you have it filled with??

Thanks, I got the idea from reading some posts on this site. Its filled with four 80lb bags of Quickrete. I used a drawbar from TSC, and a cheap garbage can from Home Depot, and for the toplink I just took a piece of scrap steel I had laying around and sunk it down into the concrete and after it set up I cut a hole through it with a torch. The whole thing only cost about 50 bucks and its plenty of counter weight for the little BX.

After looking at your pics, I think I understand fully why a cab is helpful for serious snow removal. :D Thanks for sharing.

Here is a picture of what I did today
This is a Kubota L2550 with a BF400G FEL that I have been using for many, many years. She's still up for the task. The blade is an old Myers from a Ford pickup. It's 7.5 feet wide and about 10 feet high. It's been great pileing the snow way up there. I have to admit it was kinda fun. Of course this is the first day above freezing in a long time. That helps.
Now we're waiting for the next round.
