Here's the latest setup on my snow machine.
Bought an old 6' Meyers truck plow, and added loader mounting brackets to work with my quick attach. Needs fresh paint, but that won't happen until summer. I plan to do the entire frame in Kubota grey, and may do the moldboard in Kubota orange - haven't quite figured that out. The paint on the back of the moldboard is in decent shape, but the front is trashed with a crappy coat of paint from the previous owner. Also, I'll work on the hydraulic angling this summer.
But I wanted to get everything fabbed up so I can start using it to plow all the drives and the portion of road that I have to deal with. Took the pic Feb. 23rd. You can see how I've had such a need for serious snow removal equipment this year.![]()
Yeah it's a JD but it moves snow really well for a home made snow blade setup.

All winter. A lot of snow this year and it is holding up very well. I normally get about 4 winters on a paint job. Made the blade and belly mount for my 1988 JD 650 twenty years ago and modified it this past summer to fit the 2320.Awesome. Has it seen any snow yet?
My Kubota L4240. 68 hours on the meter.
That's Kubota's plow frames are black and only the tractor frame itself is gray. It wouldn't look good all orange. But that's just my opinion. I wouldn't say anything if it was already painted. I hope you don't mind my two cents.
Ooh, I like that 4shorts.
I may just have to go with all-orange. I've been a little unsure if I liked the Kubota grey frame attached to the orange quick attach, but wasn't sure where to stop the orange and start the grey.
Looks like I'll have to play around a little bit and see what I can come up with.
But the all-orange looks better than I thought it would.![]()
