What are you guys using for supplied air?
When i ran a large blaster, it had a filter that filters the compressed air. This was pumped to your helmet.
I dont use silica anymore so i can get away with a P100 filter. These filters ARE NOT approved for sandblasting (im unsure why) but they are essentially 99.5% filtration. I feel pretty comfortable with it.
There are supplied air kits available. North and SAS makes one that regularly comes up on ebay. Search for "Supplied air". you can get them used for under 250 if you wait .New would be around 750. They have a oiless compressor that feeds a full face mask. YOu'd want to wear this under a blasting hood and put a tearoff on the glass.
They are also essential if you do any painting with hardners. ISO is bad stuff. I hope to have one before the next car i paint.
