Single wide should be much easier. If you use the laser shot down one end, I dont think it matters where it is as long as it's level and reaches the distance you needd. The you can measure from the line to any points that are consistent, even the top of the beam, middle of the beam ect tra

Getting a cheap one at Lowes (less then $100, or renting one may be an option?
Or a cheap bore sighter on a straight 2"x4" may do it

Yep.No lazer level.May be a future purchase.I decided to raise the MH above grade and then use the water level to fine tune the level.Well guess what!?My 20 Ton jack won't budge the MH.I had all tie downs loose, utilities dug up,and sewer drain line dug out.Nothing holding it anywhere.I guess my jack has an internal leak.Oh well.I threw in the towel and called in the pro's.I hate to spend the money. It cuts into rebuilding the floors and remodeling the MH.This will be a rental so I'm not going to throw a lot of money into it.It will be nice, but not overly so.You know, just a bit better than the original MH 70's styling it came with.
