Yep... a little late rain at the farm means second cutting to get ready for fire season... thought we were all done.

Mowing this late is not without risk as a spark from mowing had been known to start fires.

Sounds like Seattle weather is migrating Y'alls way. What is Y'alls rain count this year so far?
Below 70 sounds fine to me.

Around here almost everyone has a rain gauge in the yard. They only cost a couple dollars and are often given away as promotional items.

I use an App on my phone called climate.com or Field View. It's pretty accurate. You can set pins wherever you like. So I have six pins set across my Township so I also know the amounts received at those locations.
