Re: Life\'s a beach

Hazmat,
I'm a avid sailor as well. We have a Catalina 36 which we keep in East Greenwich RI.

We'll be heading over to Edgartown for the 4th and my wife already broke the news to me that I'm taking the high speed ferry back... I'll go back the following weekend and see if she's ready to come home...

We'll be going back to Martha's Vineyard for two weeks in August and we'll hop over to Nantucket for a couple of days then.

Fair Winds....

Chris,

Nice boat. My paren't have a Freedom 38 named Duet (In case you spot it on the water). I'm heading down to the Chesapeake on Sunday to sail with the inlaws. My FIL chartered a Catalina 30 for a couple days.

Fair winds to you as well.

Hmmmm.......

Must be a sailing type of fairwell, huh? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Kind of like.... Keep it down the middle or Keep it in the short grass to us golfers. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

O.k., so what should the farewell to the tractor lovers of the world be? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Any suggestions? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Re: Life\'s a beach

Farewells are interesting....

According to Oliver North the the farewell in the service is "Safe Home" shortend up for I hope you make it home safe I guess.

I feel at home on my sailboat... It has a Kubota diesel in it.

So for tractors we can try this:

Bright skies and free time,
Chris

( I always get a kick reading about "my backyard" in sailing magazines - the "world renowned" cruising grounds of MV, ACK, the Cape & Newport. Doesn't everybody have dozens of protected harbors, beatiful beaches, and awesome sunrises/sunsets within a day's sail of their home port? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif As I get older, I'm beginning to understand just how spoiled I am. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Probably not everyone can dig clams and catch stripers in their home port (Buzzard's Bay). My wife's uncle lives in Manomet - beautiful place, a different world compared to our coastal area here in NC. By the way, nice Lab you have there !
