I've found that generally front tires fail before the rears. I think there's more flex to them and a smaller area for them to flex, thereby early cracking.
Just a hunch.
Take a look at the tire of 40 year old tractors and tire still usable. very few cracks unless allowed to sit flat for long periods of time. These tires were used pulling a plow where the side wall was rubbing against the soil and never wore out. the tread is worn and still never went flat. Tractor usually parked out side.
The new tractors kept parked out of the sun and side wall very thin where a stick or rock will puncher The side wall. tread wears out in couple of years. and price a tube that will not keep the valve stem attached to
tube is unreal.
I have a neighbor that has started to use auto.tires and likes them for the front tires. higher pressure and front end loader doesn't seem to effect the steering.
