lift arms not working

hi my name is travis and i have a ford600 model 660 it has been in my family for as long as i can remember i just chang my oil seal for the PTO. i filled my oils back up but not the hydronlic fluid and i started it up and of course the life arms don't work so i added fluid and it still don't work. do i have to prime the pump to git it going or is there a air bleed

I believe those have a external hyd pump on the right side of the tractor. Sometime you can prime that pump and get it going. Provided it was working before. Some customers say they have had luck, by going up or down a incline to get the oil to pickup. If Soundguy, sees this post, he will know for sure. Ken Sweet
