lift cover ford 3000

I got the lift cover off and i see that the lift lever is froze up on the end of the shaft is there any easy way to get that off so i can take emery cloth to the shaft and clean it up . Thanks alot for the help

are you saying that the 3pt lever and friction plate are seized to the shaft?

no the shat is froze in the inside of the lift housing on the very end of the shaft were it works the plunger
