I've had a chance to put about 3 hourmeter hours on my new-to-me L2250. I've got a 5' cutter on it and have been mowing bahaya (sp?)grass. The little rascal just won't stall! I've had to learn how to hold on...It's a little more bouncy than my 1520 John Deere was, BUT it out- maneuvers the big tractor by a long shot, and that is what I was going for. I've used it long enough to want to slow down, or smooth out, the "up" speed on the lift. Just a slight upward pull on the lever and the lift raises so fast that it jerks the tractor. The knob under the seat slows/stops the downward motion but has no effect on the up speed. I can't find another adjustment. Any ideas? Is it because the attachmet is too heavy? It doesn't raise the unweighted front off the ground.
Is a dealer the best/only place to get owner's and service manuals?
Wen...I updated my profile. Thanks in advance for any advice.
