lift

To the OP there should be an adjustment knob for the three point hitch lowering speed somewhere around the seat area. Could be that someone accidentally adjusted it somehow?

Could it be that there is not enough tongue weight on the trailer hitch to lower the 3 point hitch. It does not have down force and moves downward by gravity.

I thought you were talking about a vehicle/car lift, sorry.

Hi JC-jetro. I feel like the MX series is a good all-arounder, big enough to do some decent work and yet small enough to be fairly maneuverable and fit into smaller spaces. There are other machines I would like to have but this suits my needs quite well.

I went with the non turbo for simplicity sake. I do not need the extra horse power and felt that the extra cost and complexity would be wasted in my situation. I also like the fact that everything is mechanical on this machine and it is fairly simple to work on.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but how do you like yours??
The OP is MIA for now. Hope he chimes in with a bit more info so we all can help him.

I love my MX foor all the reasons you said, and having naturally aspirated was one thing that I wanted. Yup, electrical /mechanical all very simple and CATII 3 point lift is great, just wished it had the deluxe extendable lift arms. I am sure it will outlast me.

How much weight is on the tongue? If it is close to balanced, there moght not be enough weight to drop it. When my old Iseki built MF1250 didn't have anything on the 3PH I had to push the arms down to get them to lower.

Yes, would need more information from OP to be helpful.

I agree, those extendable arms would come in handy and I have considered getting them since they are still available at the parts counter.
