Lifting hooks on NH7308 FEL

Hank,

From the picture it looks as if the bucket cylinders are fully extended. I would caution against putting to much weight in the receiver hitch because the potential exists to bend one of the loader cylinders when fully extended. If one corner of the bucket drops suddenly and accidently digs into the ground, could bend a loader cylinder also.

Well there is certainly more than one way to skin this cat...there really is a lot of ingenuity out there. I think I like your dealers method Kris. I should be able to weld some 1/4" plate steel into a lazy "S" and mount a hook on the top.
Thanks to all for the ideas.

Here is how the hook is mounted on my bucket.. I did have to re-weld the hook on once, because the dealer's welder was not feeling well the day they put it on.
