Lifting the rear wheels

According to my manuals , lift capacity of FEL is 1014 lbs , and both rear tires filled with water are (253x2) 706 lbs so a box blade of 450 kg or so 990 pounds (LA463 , Loader Manual page 8) will do the trick .

I don't have a Kubota loader, mine is an Ansung. My max lifting capacity is 1225 lbs.

The bottom line is that you need to ballast for what you can lift plus the loader weight to keep the tractor in a stable state. So it seems that the loaded tires and about 1200# off the back should be fine.

Oh No .

I just got a bullitin today saying that Kubota will not provide warrenty on coverage on machines that where damaged by an aftermarket loader that had more capacity or lift height than the factory provided option. If you choose one thats less capable your fine, however if its stronger you may have trouble. As much as I don't like this, I do understand their stance. The bullitin came with a picture of an L2800 with an Asung aftermarket loader - this loader has 44% more capacity than the stock loader on the L2800. Ansung trys to pitch this loader to Kubota dealers by building a mount that also fits the L3130 and other machines. Seems their one size fits all approach is causing too many structural failures and thus a change of policy.

Filled tires or no, you need some ballast hanging off the 3 point hitch. I would never use the loader for anything (except mulch) without my box blade or ballast box on.

That 60" bucket can only hold as much material as the Kubota bucket so if your not trying to carry lead then you shouldn't have any problems with rock, dirt...etc.
