Light Colored Smoke

   / Light Colored Smoke #21
Today I bled the fuel system again. No air at all. When I loosen the injector tubes it slows down on all 3 cylinders so I know it's firing. I haven't started it since Saturday. It still starts immediately without glow plugs. I moved the throttle the full range several times. No smoke until I load the engine. There is no power loss. I'm stumped.
Well, just run it, let it smoke. Keep eye on oil, coolant, and run it, if an issue crops up fix it. HS

Just another suggestion, depending on how much it bothers you - you could pull off the exhaust manifold and run it and see if it is the same out of all the cylinders. Might not solve anything but at least adds another piece of info to the puzzle.

Apparently white smoke from this diesel appears acceptable to the owner/operator:

That's almost what it looks like!

Real white smoke could be unburn fuel. I agree, pull the exhaust and see if there is one cylinder that is putting it out, or if they are the same.

Just thinking, your crank case oil maybe over filled, check that! HS
