Light duty clamp on forks recommendations

Thinking some forks would be really handy for unloading occasional deliveries. Kubota L3600 loader load limit is something like 800 lbs as I recall and with forks out farther should probably limit to about 500 so 1000 lb forks should be good. Have hear the stabilizer bar is a good thing to have. I saw the Northern tool ones are stamped rather than square tubing. Maybe ok but wanting to get some feedback on recommended suppliers.

Before I got the APF10x42 forks for our JD, I considered clamp on forks.. Mainly just as something to move brush and the like.

My plan now with the JD forks is to build a slip on with 3-4 teeth to go between the forks to use for brush, limbs and such.

Deliveries of what? Packaged how? Based on discussions here, I decided against forks. Potential for bending the bucket lip is just one consideration. I figured out I can strap a Carry All into the bucket and use it as forks for some things, even though the spacing is not adjustable.

Titan attachments makes pretty good products for pretty good prices. If you have SSQA mounts, their economy forks are a pretty good deal.

Deliveries of various things. For example we bought a small wood stove and it arrived on a pallet. I managed to get it into the bucket and put a strap around it but forks seem like a better plan. Some are boxed and not on a pallet but just a bit heavy/bulky to more by hand especially if no one else is around to help.

I have a carry all for the 3 point. How is that attached to the bucket? I have seen some slick adapters to replace the bucket with a three point hitch connection. Getting the load closer to the tractor would be good for heavy loads but would require removing the bucket. That and I can't weld. I could get someone else to put something together though - I know someone local that is reasonable.

I am also building a garage/shop that is some distance from utilities so I could see loading a mess of PVC pipe or conduit to move it to install location.

Don't want to bend the loader bucket. How likely is that if I keep the load under 500 lbs on a standard pallet? I suppose the farther the forks are apart the less likely to bend the bucket lip.

That's good to know. The weight I plan to lift is still the same so it doesn't change the advice I am looking for. Being conservative never hurt anyone...

If you want to get technical you posted the wrong model loader which I clearly stated. Although the lift spec is the same.

Freight will be a significant portion of total fork delivered cost.

Knowing your location would allow respondents to recommend venders reasonably close to your home.

I have found that clamp on forks are quite handy. Although I have lifted some very heavy load, my bucket has never been distorted...just some scratch marks where the clamp heads mount. Bucket Solutions are the manufacturer.
