Google shows it as having an 18 amp alternator, so that gives you about 200 watts, which is a lot of light from modern LEDs.

Agreed 18 amps is plenty of power for a 12v LED work light, but realize that as you run that wattage to operate the work light, there is very little going to charge the battery. That is up to you to decide how you want to use that power. I would plan to put a battery charger on if using half or more of the available wattage (216) in the work light.

Depending on how many lights you're going to put on
your charging system will have more than enough to keep your battery charged up and run a few lights. No worry...

On my Mitsubishi CUT everything is LED now.

Even my interior lighting is a 12' LED strip.---- BRIGHT !
My DIY yellow strobe is hi power LED's and works great, mind U I could have purchased for much less but it was a challenge.
My turn indicator is a 3' yellow LED light bar
2 rear LED floods for snow duties
Front is a 12" light bar with center being spot and 2 side 4's flood---- just like daytime!
Also for snow duties I DIY'd the chute using a 2000 lb ATV winch for rotation. (more than 8 years and going strong)
LOL, my heated cab is also DIY.
Oh, and I installed a back up camera to save my neck when blowing snow.

Ask me if I like to DIY/tinker ? and do I like LED's ?

I use one of these on my BCS 853 with the 390 Honda. Amazon.com: Nilight LED Light Bar 4PCS 4 Inch 18W LED Bar 126?lm Flood Led Off Road Driving Lights Led Fog Lights Jeep Lighting LED Work Light for Van Camper SUV ATV ,2 Years Warranty: Automotive
I ordered 4, with 3 of them used on my DX55 tractor and the 4th used on my BCS. A single light is plenty for my use, and I've never had a battery issue but I don't use it for hours at a time.

I have a BCS 770, how did you install it?

I used mine on my previous BCS, a 605, with a round welding magnet so it could be moved to the front of the engine or on the steel handle support. I used it primarily as a headlight while using my sulky and trailer, so the engine was out front. Now that I have a 853 with plastic covering the handle support, I need a new mounting point. I also intend to use it for snow plowing or blowing, so an engine mount won't work since it will be to the rear. I thought about mounting a piece of flat stock wood or metal between the handle bars close to the pivot point with pipe clamps holding the flat stock to the handles, and then mount the light to that. But I found these mounts Amazon.com: Nilight LED Light Bar Mounting Bracket Kit LED Off-Road Light Horizontal Bar Tube Clamp Roof Roll Cage Holder,2 years Warranty: Automotive under the same manufacturer as the lights I listed above. I think they will work perfect for a handle bar mount on my BCS.

I forgot to add ^^ that I keep a ring terminal Batteryminder pigtail on my battery. That makes it easy to plug in my Batteryminder to refresh my battery occasionally so it isn't stored with a low charge and is always ready to start. With that pigtail on the battery, use that to connect my flood light. I do have a switch on my light, but it's easy to disconnect the circuit when not used or when I remove it.

I ordered a pair of these tube clamp mounting brackets, so I'll post back when they arrive and I get a chance to try them on the BCS.
