Lights & Horn Out. . .AGAIN!

200 hrs, not a single problem with my 2012 R3039H. Horn and lights work fine.

Congratulations on the good service from your tractor. Other than the light problem, I've really enjoyed my tractor. I especially like the detachable bucket. As for the lights, I have a good dealer (Goss Equipment Co., Jasper, GA) and have confidence they will eventually find and fix the problem.

Hopefully it will be an easy fix. I'm sure it's going to be something simple, just a matter of tracking it down. Hope they get you back in the seat quickly!

My 4041 blew the fuse also , would love to know why. It only has 3hrs on it

I know some of you are preaching fire & brimstone by adding a 1-sized-up fuse. But I checked & couldn't find a damaged or exposed wire anywhere that would cause the issue. Upgrading the fuse fixed mine. Perhaps they just didn't account for the proper amperage draw for all the lights. The dash lights, headlights, seat switch, (and horn maybe) are all drawing from it.

Sorry bro, that was a while ago and I really don't recall. Just looked like a blown fuse.

Here are some pictures of good and normally blown fuses, and some failed fuses that are open but failed from vibration, not overcurrent.

From memory, I'm thinking they looked like they were split in the middle, like the "open" one pictured.

I believe so. Not like it was melted down or anything. Nothing that, at the time, made me think there was a series problem that couldn't be remedied by a larger fuse.
