I've seen a lot of posts on adding lights and thought I'd throw in my idea. The front lights come on with the headlight switch. The rear work lights are on a seperate switch mounted on the dash.

RayS,

Looks good. Are the fronts wired to the headlight switch direct or through a relay?

Did you custom build the cab? From your previous post I thought it was a Curtis until this one when I looked closer.

Nice job!

Yes the front lights are wired through a relay. As for the cab, you were right the first time. It's a soft sided Curtis complete with heater, and ceiling mounted stereo.

RayS,

Sounds nice and cozy, bet you can't wait for a pile of snow /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. I've been thinking about adding a marine circuit breaker to a switched relay for a "accy" block for lights, sprayer, etc.

I'd seen the Curtis hardside and the CozyCab units and your's looks great. Are you planning on removing it in the summer? I'm curious as to how the unit attaches/detaches as I'd prefer to remove in the summer rather than just pull the doors and open the windows.

Please send or post some more pictures!

It bolts on with approx. 8 bolts. The heater is on quick couplers, and all the wiring is connected through an amphenol plug right in the side of the dash. It takes about an hour for the change over. After disconnecting everything I just winch it up, and drive out from under it. Same thing in the fall. My tree branches are to low to mow under with the cab on it.
I'll take some pictures of the wiring tonight and post them tomorrow.

Here is a view of the plug in I used for my cab. All the electrical circuits go thru this plug.

RayS,

Thank for the pictures. Looks like a very slick setup.

Now we just need some snow /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.
