The neighbor next to my parents house had his driveway done with crushed limestone. It was beautiful, packed down very nice. After about four years or so - he had it resurfaced with crushed granite. The limestone was soft and with the vehicular traffic it became limestone dust. The limestone dust tracked everywhere. The crushed granite solved this problem.
