Loader Limp FEL Joystick

I have a DS4510HS with the KL402 loader. The FEL joystick has a lot of play in it to the point it flops over to one side. It's also getting difficult to get the bucket to dump (it does so slowly). I've disconnected and re-attached the hoses and still the same. Any ideas? Would these models have the same plastic balls inside the control unti as discussed in other posts? I'm two months out of warranty so hoping it's nothing too expensive.

On my DK35, I pulled the rubber grommet off and found the nuts on the activators loose. I just messed around until all were equally tight and still had full range. Each plunger into spool valve needs full travel.

Like Avondale said, take he boot off and you will see cables with threaded ends going ino the bottom of the square base of the joystick. One of the cables is probably backing its way out of the threaded hole. I expect you will see aluminum fittings with "ball tops" that the cables go into if your joystick works the same way mine does. Sorry, don't have any pics but it's really pretty easy to take apart and fix. Mine's done this a few times over the years.

My CK27 joystick had the cables loose enough I couldn't operate the bucket when it was delivered new. The dealer ordered a new joystick, but when the tech came out to replace it he found it was a simple adjustment issue.

But now 20 hours later it is loose again and leaning against the fender. Easy fix except for getting at it under the seat!
