Lincoln - ARC welder price?

They've been selling electrical equipment from motors to welders for many years.

I'd give 150 for it for resale (I have plenty of welders), and consider that price quite reasonable for an AC/DC machine.

You WANT DC. Many more rod options that way. Check into welding forums for more details.

I would say if that Dayton works jump on it quick!!! That is a good price for an AC/DC machine.

In fact I just did this yesterday to a large hand full of Hobart's PipeMaster 60 6010. I had to do this bunch in the kitchen sink because I have all the outside faucets turned off for winter. I just laid them in the bottom of the sink filled the sink up with water until all the rods were covered, rolled them around for a few seconds, placed them in a plastic rod container, but I won't use them for a day or two. Then they'll be good as new!

Great tip! Thank you. I have some old 6011 and 6013 rods (10-12lbs) that are burning in that off-to-the-side fashion and have not used them for that reason. But I didn't toss it 'cause I'm cheap and now I'm glad. Will try to "fix" them.
