Has any one install a linear actuator on the chute defector of their snowblower? And I'm not talking about the one Kubota sells. They want $500.00. Not going to happen. I bought one from Eco-Worthy.com for under $40.00. However I need two spacers to mount it to the chute. This actuator uses either a 1/4" bolt or a 5/16" one. Any ideas where to buy those? My tractor is a L5030 with a L2185A blower. I had this already mounted but a bolt broke and lost the spacer and cannot remember where I had bought them.

By "spacer" do you mean the ones that look like a really thick flat washer??
Almost any hardware store or industrial supply would have those. Even the big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot carry them.

Thank you for your rely. I needed a 3/4" OD x 5/16" ID x 5/8" L and found some at McMaster-Carr.
