We use to make divider walls in basements out of ANY type of cans. Used fishing line and a pull tab from one of the cans to connect them together. An easy and free wall. Gerard

Kinda neat but the whole time I was reading this thread I couldn't help but to think about all the little emoticons at the bottom of Henro's posts. You know the little beer toasting guys. That is too kewel!

What are you using for a stiffener?

And what are you using to punch your caps?

And what do you think of the idea of dipping the caps after punching but before lacing in a sealer?

Coming from an industrial background I've seen a lot of VERY large chains and that was what I thought I was looking at when I checked out the first picture! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Actually after several looks back and forth between the picture and the text, I could not figure out a relationship between drinking beer/water/etc and a severly rusted large chain! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Finally figured it after viewing the other pictures... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Interesting use for bottle caps. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

(PineRidge...I was afraid that the combination of my picture and the little guys with the beer mugs might give the wrong impression... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif )

There's 60 caps per link. A friend gave us the idea, so we continued with the way she had made them.

She had a project in mind, and at one point had two 55gal drums full of caps! She never finished her project though...
