Linked smiles a No No???

I have been on good behavior recently and have even put the kitty's out to pasture. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif There is a site that has lots of smiley faces that you can link to and I believe that they are free. I found it once, when I needed an extra large smiley for some obnoxious post, but don't remember where I found it on the web. If I find it Henro, I will send it your way. I have a hard enough time finding some of the pictures that I need to make some of the attachments. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Unless you really have a need for them, it can introduce problems you never thought of.


Well...I can't be going nuts, since I am apparently already there. I just happened to look at that thread a minute ago, and yes, they are there! I have no idea why they were not there when I looked the day after I made that post... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I do know that if there was a problem with the link some like this

should have appeared...but all I saw was that the remaining tbn instant faces were shifted to the left...

So I assume someone edited them out. Whoever did the cutting might have sent me a private message advising me why...but they didn't ...so...I wonder why.

I'm not complaining [other than perhaps if someone edits a post they should have the courtesy to advise the poster as to why] but rather I would like to know the reason.

You just discovered the problem linking to sites other than TBN. If the linked to site is not available, you will see the dreaded X . The other site doesn't even have to be down. I could not see all of the animated icons from work because our firewall blocks access to some of the URLs as game sites. I was all set to blame those nasty Moderators, but then I did some research. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My wife is right...... I am spending way too much time around you people.... I am loosing my eye sight and this site isn't helping. I am loosing my mind and you are definitely are helping with that....... what little that is left....I think that I am just going to clean the garage and save what little sanity that I have left for that project.....

Now I remember why I forgot where I found the site. I deleted it from my computer because they put tracking software on my computer when I registered to use the site. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
