How about a strong magnet under the pedal to keep it down until you pull it back up. :confused3:

i have a buddy that uses a trailer brake magnet to hold his clutch peddle down on his race car when he lets the botton go his clutch peddle comes up .

I needed valve stem protectors, especially for the front tires. I had to have some put on.

Seat suspension sucks.
Bottoms out on the smallest bump. I have it as tight as it will go and I am not all that heavy, 'bout 175/180.

Directional light switch is constantly hit with my left knee
when I turn around to look backwards. One of these days
I'm going to saw it off. The switch, that is. I just know
someone would have said to not saw off the knee:eek:

I will chime in about the suspension seat on my E. I'm pushing 220 and I regularly bottom it out and use my kidneys to stop the descent. I have never operated a tractor with an air seat and really didn't feel I needed to spend 800 dollars for the upgrade. Maybe I should have? The old 4020 has plenty of adjustment that I can't even bounce hard enough on the seat to bottom it out.

NH Boomer 50 (3050), HST, open station...

1. I wish the HST pedals were a bit farther away from the seat and lower down in the floor deck. I've got to keep my knee bent up a bit too much and I can't rest my heel on the floor during pedal operation.
2. The cup holder, as has already been mentioned, is too shallow to retain most items. Fortunately this doesn't bother me at all because it is exactly the right size to retain a Route 44 drink from Sonic, which is what I've usually got.
3. Only two years of parking outdoors has the paint on the hood already fading a lot.
4. Lights/blinkers switch should be higher on the dash. I frequently hit it with my left knee if I twist my body around to the right looking behind me.
5. Not a big deal, but I wouldn't complain if the fuel tank and filler cap wasn't so high up.
6. ROPS w/ canopy is just an inch too high for my garage door.
7. I'm annoyed by the harsh engagement of the electrically operated PTO.
8. Also wish the PTO shaft wasn't locked when unengaged so I could spin the shaft by hand.

Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the thing.

Hydraulics. Can't actuate two functions at the same time. For instance, can't raise and curl (or dump) the FEL simultaneously. Can't crowd and curl the BH bucket. Can't dump the BH while swinging, etc.

Almost all tractors: The seat should pivot about 60-90 degrees, with controls still reachable. Save the back and neck when you need to watch a rear implement.

I am always envious of the asphalt rollers I see with a rotating seat.

Here a photo I found. This one looks like the whole control station turns.

And a comment from:
World Highways - Major advances in compaction technology
"... a spacious operator platform with ergonomic controls and a rotating and sideways sliding seat and steering assembly. "

Another one:
Gallery of Double-Drum Vibratory Asphalt Rollers | Construction Equipment
"A new cockpit features a sliding/swivel seat that makes it easy for the operator to adjust positions without having to switch seats, while providing a clear view of the roller drum edges. When the seat position is reversed, the joystick controls reverse automatically for natural right/left, forward/back control."

I know on my Ventrac I would have likes real Mech Gauges instead of LED and Idiot lights.

Finally some real design flaws vs lack in a feature.
 ... I sure wish my 7520 had better paint. It would improve critical major tractor functions immensely.
