The only thing I dont like about the x700 is no seat belt+ropes protection.

Now that's the thing I do like. I don't have threatning hills but I have a lot of trees and a ROPS would be a royal pain.
If you have dangerous hilly areas to mow then perhaps a 2305 would have been better. I passed on the 2305 mainly because of the ROPS and also for the suspension seat on the X748SE.
Different machines serve different purposes.
