Little Giant Extreme ladder?

I wonder how it would work on this new product. I was intrigued with this.

Yes, very interesting!

How it would work with the fold up ladders, I'm not sure. But I'll bet any ladder manufacturer will would deny liability for a failure if used with it. Ladders are designed for the top to be rested against something.

Not putting it down, I wouldn't be afraid to use it up to maybe a 24 footer. Looks like that's the largest they show in the pics. A 40 footer might be a little hairy like that.

The biggest problem I see is, if you fell off, landing on a truck is going to compound injuries, in most cases, compared to landing on the ground.

Thanks, JB

I like Little Giants, and have had one (1A grade) for years. They are well designed and well made, but, as has been stated here already, they cannot supplant common sense, and cannot fit EVERY situation perfectly.

And...
I know of at least 2 urban fire departments who, for many years, have carried 1A Little Giants as adjuncts on their ladder trucks for use in enclosed areas and odd situations (attic access, shallow sumps, etc).
They would not keep buying/using them if they were unsafe!
