I got pulled this weekend /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif dang one wheel drive ford of mine. it is a highway truck /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif anyhow I was at an auction and parked in the early morning mud free frozen field (corn field which had apperantly been hilled durring the growing season, looked OK prior to going in. anyhow it warmed up and turned to liquid snot on ice. and I parked wrong wise in the field between rows and managed to move out and get going at end of day ony to hit a swamp hole /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif anyhow nice young couple pulled me out you could tell he was maybe 20 and gf/wife? was about the same very nice and managed to pull it without getting himself stuck. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif now in the past it usually seems that I'm the one helping that day was finally a payback. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

One afternoon last year, I got home from work, in the pouring rain and found the telephone repair man on my front porch. Seems the neighbors phone was out and he took his truck across one of my fields to get to a pole to check the signal. The truck (a ford van) was sitting on the axles in mud. I took my Case DC and a chain down and hooked up to his trailer hitch. He was sure I couldn't do it, but I did, without any problem. After we unhooked the chain, he asked for my phone number, he wanted to thank me.

Never heard from him again. And oh yes, when I received my phone bill for the next month, the whole month was credited.
