Just a suggestion. You have the early front wheels. If you intend to put a loader on this get the updated front wheels. These are thin in the center and will break with a loader,if ya use the loader. They have a "silent" recall on these you can buy one get one free. i learned the hard way AFTER I had new ft tires AND had them foam filled(tires not reuseable after filling) had to get new tires and fill new ones. I think you will be quite pleased with this tractor. I'm still amazed at how hard mine works and doesent complain

LT is right on with how had these tractors work without complaining. yesterday out in the woods i cut the first tree that was to far from the path so i had to get right out on the forest floor. drove down to the tree and turned around the tractor and forwarder trailer. she really is nifty manuverable. already had quite a load on but added a twenty footer and two 12 foots. tried to pull this whack of logs up the hill but no traction. dig dig dig the tires and chains just kept grindin. then i saw it, negative tounge weight, i moved the 20 foot log so it was hangin over the front of the trailer just up behind the tractor and sure enough out up the hill she walked. workin just like a big girl she was.

I was just looking at one of these today. My local dealer had an older one sitting on his lot. Not not ask the price on it[ I realy want a bigger tractor, but with a new house going up, and a baby on the way, I will have to wite a bit] but it looked like a nice little tractor. It also had a loader on it. Any one have some specs. on this model? You know, just in case I come into some money./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

While we are on the subject of a 3054, I'll ask this question. On Saturday I saw a 1998 3054 w/ 49x hours on it. I believe it had a 5' International Machinery Rotary Cutter on it. That tractor looked in pretty decent shape other than a few scrapes/gashes (nothing serious) on the tires. The cutter was in pretty rough shape. Looks like the cutter was put on when the tractor was new and never taken off. How does $8850 sound?
