LK3054 Hydraulic ports

I spoke with Kioti about this. They said that it will work but may cause overheating. They stated the proper way to plumb a backhoe is to the power beyond on the tractor. We run our hoses in the frame rail of the backhoe subframe so as to not catch or drag, we install quick couplers on those connections so they are just as easy to hook up as the rear remotes. Hose kits can usually be purchased for $150-200 or so(depending on tractor), and are cheaper than a rear valve. All the backhoes we sell get the hose kits or pumps, and i would recommand it over just using the rear remotes.

)</font> That's exactly how my dealer is going to hook up my backhoe. Plumbed through the same block as the loader. I plan to add remotes to the back for other things. Jon, Vigil, Wallace, Others, the CK20 has optional one remote, how would I go about adding two so I can add top and tilt? Is there some type of double remote/spool that would operate both the top link and lift arm? I think so, but I'm not great with hydraulics. Thanks, John

If you have one remote (or put one on)you can do that with the TCC system from Integration Engineering

I must have misread the information on those as I thought they required two remotes, one in/out for each cylinder. That would be great if I only need one remote. I'll check it out again. One PAIR......one lever two ports. If you get the whole set-up yes it is about $1200. Thats for Top cylinder, tilt cylinder, joystick control w/console (maybe hoses too). There is a console mount too if needed, but I don't know if it is included in that price.

Just on update on my DIY backhoe. I thought I would add this info to this old thread since its related to using the aux hydraulic remotes and a backhoe.

When putting together my el' cheapo import backhoe onto a subframe, I first plumbed it into the aux. ports on the back. It worked great. I did blow out the seals on the valve block pressure and neutral lines from the loader. But got that fixed with some better connectors. I was some what bothered by the amount of noise from the pump and the relief valve.

So I put together a tank and pto pump setup. The pump is a 7.1 GPM Prince 540 rpm. I run the tractor at about 1300 rpm so the GPM should be around half that. I must say that its a gigantic improvment. Now that hoe really drags the 3054 around. And all that strain is off the Kioti's pump.

I got the pump from Princedirect.com (cheapest I could find anywhere), and the rest of the parts from Surpluscenter.com. One suggestion, if your ordering from surpluscenter.com, call them on the phone instead of ordering online. I waited 2 days after a online order, called them and they had not processed it. The one another order I placed it by phone and got it 2 days later. Perhaps it was just a fluke or something.

I really like the PTO pump on mine too, and I like not having to open up the hydraulic system every time I take it off.
