Well it's already been said but I will re-affirm - Load the tires first. And I agree w/ bdog - load all four.
You don't mention if you're getting a FEL also but for ours it recommended counterweight in addition to already having loaded tires so there's that to consider as well.
Second (as I am not familiar with that model) - see about any adjustment in the rear wheel width (Our Kioti had adjustable width rims but only with Ag tires). If there is no adjustment in the wheels themselves then look into spacers.
Third - unless you just really really want a ballast box, I would instead suggest getting a heavy implement. A Box scraper / Box Blade is usually the most favored because it is heavy but not too long as to hinder maneuverability. A ballast box will never be more than a counterweight and tool carrier but you can at least do work with a Box Blade. And since you mention working on a road it might be pretty useful anyway.
