I don't think you'll find any quick detach loader that doesn't flex...
I had the standard 61" bucket on my 790...which was plenty big. I think a wider bucket should be limited to light weight materials such as wood chips, fresh mulch...things like that.
Couldn't agree more, unfortunately the owner did it for plowing purposes and horse manure transport.

I run into problems when I try to dig/ excavate, flexes like a bastard.

Loaders are loaders...not particularly good at digging. It helps if you have a tooth bar and rear weight box, but it's still designed for loading more then digging.

No teeth, but once I get my hands on a torch I'll be doing some serious fabrication around the farm.

I've seen tool boxes mounted behind the seat. Unfortunately I can only find 3pt platforms. By chance do you know of a behind the seat mounted tool box?

Depends on how big the tool box must be. What do you have in mind to put in it?

I would look into buying a regular bucket for when you need to do heavier work.

790/3005 design doesn't allow a behind the seat tool box easily. The 3ph top link gets close, and any box might get hit or block rear vision. I had my chainsaw holder across the back of the ROPS and didn't like it.

I mounted an ammo can to the right fender, holds a few tools and gloves nicely.

The 300 loader lifts enough to make me worry about overloading the front axle... it's very small compared to my buddy's simular size Kubota L2850.

Didn't think of the ammo box, was considering a bench seat center console. I like the ammo box a lot more, add a magnetic cup holder and I'm sold

Here's a tool (ammo) box/console that I added to my 790 a few years ago. Love it!!

Here's a chain bucket that I added to it. I keep a 24" pry bar in it, along with three chains: A 15ft, a 10ft, and a real short 3ft chain.

Here's a chain saw carrier and fire extinguisher mount that I added. I have since relocated the fire extinguisher because it was hard to get to, and it got in the way when removing the engine side panel.

Here's a pic of the Best Top canopy and "FOG" (flying object guard) I added last year. The canopy is the best thing yet, keeps the sun from frying the top of my balding head. You can see the new location for the fire extinguisher, much easier to get to! Also, I added a holster to hold a dead blow hammer for driving pins in/out.

Love the 790, great tractor! I've had it 10 years and still in the process of pimping it out. Up next is some LED light bars on the front and rear of the canopy.

I have a 790 with 419 loader and it does what I want it to do. My 790 has a backhoe on it so I think that takes some of my hydraulic capacity but my 790/419 will lift all of the implements that would go with the tractor. You aren't going to lift 1000 lbs with it so if that is the goal get a bigger tractor. I consider my 790/419 a near-perfect combination of workability and desirable characteristics and it is a keeper just the way it is.
