I’m in the process of replacing the hydraulic control valve on my B219 loader mounted on my 1980 Kubota B7100D. The stock valve #70050 00052 has been upgraded to #70050 00191, which I just purchased NOS.
The mounting is fine but the in- out hydraulic hoses mount to the front of the new valve vs sides of original. Looks like the “in” hose will work, but the “out” hose fitting is for a 1/2” hose vs the 3/4” stock. Before I get started, I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this upgrade? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Needing adapters & fittings seem to be a part of every one of my hydraulic projects.
I use surpluscenter.com - mainly because they are helpful on the phone.

If you can identify the fittings yourself just Google "Hydraulic Fittings and Adapters"
to find lots of sources inexpensively.
BTW, even if the threads match, its best to use hydraulic pressure rated adapters rather than household plumbing parts from the hardware store. .

Have you looked to confirm that there is not a second in and out port on the new valve? Reason for asking is some valves have multiple options and you can use which ever port works the best for your application. Just plug the unused ports.

In a similar vein has any one found a loader valve they are really happy with?
And if so what was the brand?

I'm about to replace one for a second time, the original is a cable operated large heavy cast unit made in Turkey,
I have replaced it once already and both of them have been rough on the cables and the float detents have been difficult to get into and out from. They have required constant cable adjustment and repair as well as cleaning and lubing of the detent.

I am seriously considering an electrical proportion controlled unit.

What flow rate do you need for that valve.

Best valves I have operated were on Kubota and John Deere CUT tractors but I don’t know who makes valves for either of those companies nor if those companies make valves to be purchased as a separate item.

PTSG has mentioned Badestnost brand valves but I have never used one to my knowledge.

Prince has discontinued building their line of LV* loader valves. I have a LVT and it is OK but not exceptional.

Brand hydraulics shows having a loader valve but again no actual hands on use.

If going proportional the Danfoss PVG is well known and respected valve line.

Good luck in your search.

Oldnslo, thank you for your feedback. There are only the two ports to work with. The new casting covers up where the old ports were. Thanks again.
