Short Answer: Most likely, Yes.
Question for you: Are you thinking about ...
(1) never using the front blade again and purchasing a FEL to replace the blade (and saving money on the joystick control) or,
(2) having and using both front blade and FEL such that they share the use of the same joystick control?
Assuming that you want to swap implements...
FEL Joystick Controls: On some of the Kubota Quick Attach Loaders, the joystick loader control stays with the tractor when the loader is off (so that the joystick can be shared by different implements) and on other models the loader control stays with the FEL when the loader is off (so that different tractors can share the same implement). I'm not sure about which configuration the
B1750's FEL (B1640A) uses. Your local Kubota dealer should be able to tell you, or if someone on this board has a B1640A user's manual then they could tell you.
Front Blade Joystick Controls: Let me first assue that your front blade is a "quick attach" design. Then, regardless of the configuration for the B1640A FEL's joystick control, you need to confirm that your joystick stays with the tractor when the front blade has been removed via the "quick attach" method. If it doesn't, then the loader's design probably won't matter anyways.
Assuming that you want to use only the FEL...
I don't really know for sure, but I suspect that you won't save any money trying to re-use your current joystick control. May even lose money. I "guess" this because...
(1) If you buy a used loader, it'll most likely have the control with it,
(2) If you buy new, an entire unit is usually cheaper than a unit priced with individual components (assuming that they still sell the unit as a whole),
(3) You would lose the resale value of the front blade with-out the control.
