Are you talking about the cylinder rods? Could it be black nitride?

I installed some 3/8" plate on the sides of mine as well as the top angle and hooks. I hate bent up buckets.![]()

I know you will not overload that center hook on your bucket.But I have seen too many buckets with hooks in the center that have bent top lips.
Y'all. if you have a heavy load, please put it on a corner of your bucket
unless it is really beefed up like Brians.

Brandi, there have been a few posts where people are all worried about bending, tweaking the loader frame by having a heavy load on one corner only. What I think is that all the top lips of these AG type tractors need to be reinforced if you are going to be using that part of the bucket to support much weight at all. With a reinforced top lip and just a little common sense of where to place any particular load, most people will be alright.

issue 1)my 5500 will not start with a new battery
i checked a relay
it clicks when i turn key on.but my glow plug light does not work or anything else
issue2)i have been having a problem with leakdown of the bucket tilt cylinders
